## Who Roamly is

Roamly Insurance Group, LLC ("Roamly") "is a licensed general agent for affiliated and non-affiliated insurance companies" (footer, every page). It sells insurance for recreational vehicles: "Get the best-priced coverage for RVs, boats, motorcycles, and toys" (https://www.roamly.com/). Policies "are underwritten by Spinnaker Insurance Company, Progressive Insurance Company, Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, Foremost Insurance Company, National General Insurance, and others." **Roamly is the agent, not the insurer.**

Roamly describes itself both ways. The RV FAQ asks "Is Roamly selling me its own policy, or acting as a broker?" and answers "Both. We offer our policies or connect you with others. You win either way." (https://www.roamly.com/insurance/personal/rv). The motorcycle page says "We're brokers. We shop multiple carriers to find you the best deal." (https://www.roamly.com/insurance/personal/motorcycle). Both fit the footer: Roamly is a licensed general agent and carriers underwrite the policies. Some policies are Roamly-branded programs (Roamly RV, Carshare and Pro; https://www.roamly.com/claims), and others are placed with partner carriers. Even the branded programs are still underwritten by carriers, not by Roamly.

Roamly's parent company is Outdoorsy, which "launched as an RV rental marketplace" in 2015; Roamly "was born" in 2019 (https://www.roamly.com/about). Its signature product lets RV owners rent out their RV: "the industry's first RV insurance product that allows RVers to rent their RVs when they're not using them" (2022, About page; Roamly's own claim).

Lines of business (https://www.roamly.com/sitemap.xml, 2026-10-30):
- **Personal:** RV (incl. full-timers, weekenders, vans, rentals), RV Freeway, motorcycle, boat, ATV/UTV ("toys"), jewelry.
- **Commercial:** commercial RV, carshare, rideshare, carshare telematics (partner devices).
- **Protection:** auto and RV extended warranty (Vehicle Service Contract), RV roadside assistance; tire & wheel and windshield (FAQ only).
- **Enterprise (B2B):** "The all-in-one launch, run and grow platform for digital insurance" — policy management, underwriting, actuarial, program design, TPA, embedded insurance (https://www.roamly.com/enterprise).
- **Sister properties:** Roamly Enterprise at https://enterprise.roamly.com ("The all-in-one launch, run and grow platform for digital insurance") (source pack, CoB, 2026-10-30); a Canada site at https://ca.roamly.com (not researched) (source pack, CoB, 2026-10-30); Roamly Labs at https://roamlylabs.ai (not researched).

**Positioning in Roamly's words:** "Insurance built for adventure." · "We fixed adventure insurance." · "Coverage for adventurers and by adventurers. Seriously." · "We'll find you the best plan – even if it's not us."

**Audience:** US owners who actually use RVs, motorcycles, boats and off-road "toys" ("people who actually use their vehicles, and don't just park it in the driveway"), RV renters/hosts on marketplaces, carshare and rideshare operators; separately, insurers, MGAs, marketplaces and dealerships for Enterprise.

## Names (exact)

Roamly · Roamly Insurance Group, LLC · Roamly Enterprise · Roamly Labs · Roamly Roadside Assistance · Roamly Tire & Wheel Protection · Roamly Vehicle Service Contract · RV Freeway (product URL /insurance/personal/rv/freeway) · Outdoorsy (parent company) · RVers · ATV/UTV · carshare · rideshare · "toys" (Roamly's word for ATVs, UTVs and off-road vehicles)

## Non-negotiables (details in boundaries.md)

1. Never say or imply Roamly is the insurance company; it is a licensed agent and policies are underwritten by carriers.
2. Never quote a premium, rate, saving or claim outcome. "Availability and qualification for coverage, terms, rates, and discounts may vary by jurisdiction."
3. Customer testimonials (for example "saved me $1400") are individual reviews, never typical results.
4. Time-sensitive figures (Trustpilot 4.6/5, "$110M+ in coverage", phone hours) need a fresh check before use. Customer-count figures conflict on the site ("10,000+ adventurers" vs "1.5 million"); do not use either until Roamly confirms.

# Boundaries

Roamly has not published brand guidelines or a brand-safety policy (gap). The constraints below come from Roamly's footer disclosure, Terms of Use, claims FAQ, product fine print and conflicts found during research (all checked 2026-10-30). Anything inferred is labelled as inference.

```yaml
hard_no:
  - rule: "Never quote, estimate or promise a premium, rate or discount for anyone."
    detail: "Quotes depend on the applicant, vehicle, carrier and state; 'Availability and qualification for coverage, terms, rates, and discounts may vary by jurisdiction.' Only the few published starting prices in claims.md may be repeated, verbatim, with their footnote and check date. Send people to a Roamly quote or a licensed agent instead."
    source: https://www.roamly.com/terms/terms-of-use
  - rule: "Never present a published starting price without its verbatim footnote."
    detail: "Carshare 'Coverage for as low as $59/month.' must carry '*Price reflective of liability coverage only per vehicle. Varies by state and other factors.' Rideshare 'as low as $39/day*' must carry '*Price reflective of liability and physical damage with a $2500 deductible only per vehicle. Varies by state and other factors.'"
    source: https://www.roamly.com/insurance/commercial/carshare
  - rule: "Never state or imply a consumer price for RV, motorcycle, boat or ATV/UTV insurance, or for the protection plans."
    detail: "No consumer price is published and there is no /pricing page (404). The FAQ says 'To determine the cost… get a quote online, or call one of our agents'. Consumer pricing is a GAP."
    source: https://www.roamly.com/faq
  - rule: "Never claim the rideshare policy covers delivery or app-on driving."
    detail: "'This policy does not provide coverage for any kind of food or package delivery.' It covers Period 0 only; 'Roamly Episodic does not apply during this time' (Periods 1-3). Not available in New York."
    source: https://www.roamly.com/insurance/commercial/rideshare
  - rule: "Never promise coverage or a claim outcome."
    detail: "'Coverage under your insurance policy is subject to the terms and conditions of that policy.' Quotes are not a binder. Do not say an event 'is covered', a claim 'will be paid', or name a payout amount or timeline."
    source: https://www.roamly.com/terms/terms-of-use
  - rule: "Never say a claim won't raise rates."
    detail: "Roamly's own answer is 'Honest answer? It depends. ... we can't make promises we might not keep.'"
    source: https://www.roamly.com/claims
  - rule: "Never imply Roamly is the insurer or underwriter of a consumer policy."
    detail: "Roamly Insurance Group, LLC is 'a licensed general agent for affiliated and non-affiliated insurance companies'. Policies are underwritten by Spinnaker, Progressive, Liberty Mutual, Foremost, National General 'and others'. Jewelry is underwritten by Jewelers Mutual; service contracts are administered by Veritas. Do not assign a specific carrier to a product, state or customer. Do not say Lloyd's underwrites Roamly policies."
    source: https://www.roamly.com/
  - rule: "Never claim availability in all states or for every product."
    detail: "Availability varies by jurisdiction and product. Known exclusions: jewelry (NY, KY, AK), rideshare-rental (NY), member benefits (AK, IN, NJ, NY, ND, TX, UT). Per-product state availability is otherwise unknown (gap). Licensing in a state does not mean a product is sold there."
    source: https://www.roamly.com/terms/license-numbers
  - rule: "Never invent agents, adjusters, executives or quotes."
    detail: "Named people on the site: experts Kevin (RV), Donovan (ATV), Blake (Boat), Stephanie (Motorcycle); agents named only inside customer reviews (Kirk, Jesse, Erin, Josh, Mitchell Reeder, Evin); blog authors Kelly Lau, Brad Simmons, Aaron Ammar. No executives are named in the crawled pages. Do not create new names, titles, direct lines or quotes, and do not put words in a named person's mouth beyond the published text. Myles is the on-site AI agent; its panel greeting ('Hey, I'm Myles. Tell me what you need — I'll take it from here.') may be quoted verbatim, but do not describe capabilities beyond that panel text."
    source: https://www.roamly.com/
  - rule: "No legal, tax, financial or individual insurance advice."
    detail: "'The Site Content is not and should not be construed as insurance advice.' 'Any insurance purchasing conclusions and decisions such as coverage amounts, limits and deductibles are completely and solely the responsibility of the insured.' Do not tell someone which limit, deductible, policy or carrier to choose, or whether to cancel an existing policy."
    source: https://www.roamly.com/terms/terms-of-use
  - rule: "Never present a customer testimonial as a typical result."
    detail: "'saved me $1400', '$200 less than our other quote', 'Savings of $500/yr' are individual reviews. Quote verbatim, attributed and labelled as one customer's experience, or omit. Never compute averages or imply anyone will see a saving."
  - rule: "Never extend pricing superlatives into specific claims."
    detail: "'Get the best-priced coverage', 'The best plan at the best price. Seriously.' and 'the best possible recreational insurance' are Roamly's own unsubstantiated marketing lines. Quote them only as Roamly's line, in context. Never turn them into a saving, a rate, 'cheapest', or a comparison with a named insurer."
  - rule: "Do not send carrier-written claims to Roamly's claims line."
    detail: "Roamly handles Roamly RV, Carshare and Pro claims. The site's carve-out list conflicts (/claims: 'Progressive, National General, or Foremost'; /faq: 'Allstate, Safeco, or Foremost' (source pack, CoB, 2026-10-30)), so do not name a list: tell the customer to check their policy documents or call Roamly at (877) 725-1245. Jewelry claims go to Jewelers Mutual; service-contract claims go to Veritas, and the customer must contact claims before any repairs."
    source: https://www.roamly.com/claims
  - rule: "Do not call Roadside Assistance or a vehicle service contract insurance."
    detail: "'Roamly RV Roadside Assistance is a roadside service plan, not insurance.' Vehicle service contracts are contracts administered by Veritas. The RV extended-warranty URL uses 'warranty'; keep 'vehicle service contract' in copy."
    source: https://www.roamly.com/protection/rv/roadside-assistance
  - rule: "Do not use the Roamly name or logo without permission, and do not reuse site content commercially."
    detail: "'The term \"Roamly\" is a trademark ... You may not use such marks without Roamly's prior written permission.' Content is licensed only for personal use or legitimate business purposes as a customer, supplier or distributor."
    source: https://www.roamly.com/terms/terms-of-use
soft_no:
  - rule: "Unverified or conflicting figures."
    detail: "'10,000+ adventurers' vs '1.5 million adventurers'; Roamly Pro 'two or more RVs' vs 'four or more'; motorcycle custom parts $20,000 vs $15,000; quote time '60 seconds' vs '2 Minutes'; RV '60 seconds. No phone calls.' vs FAQ agents who 'confirm details over the phone' (source pack, CoB, 2026-10-30); roadside towing 'up to 75 miles' vs FAQ 'unlimited towing, up to $1,000 per occurrence' (source pack, CoB, 2026-10-30); carrier carve-out list on /claims vs /faq. Flag; do not resolve. Use only the claims.md record and its caveat, or omit."
  - rule: "Time-sensitive stats without a fresh check."
    detail: "4.6/5 Trustpilot (no date or review count shown), $110M+ in coverage (2025 timeline entry), claims hours, published prices. Re-check on the day of use and state the date."
  - rule: "Competitor talk."
    detail: "Roamly's pages compare against unnamed 'most insurers' and 'the big guys', and the blog compares third-party insurers (e.g. Dairyland vs American Modern). Do not voice comparisons with named insurers as Roamly, and do not repeat 'most insurance companies cap this at ...' claims. Note that some named carriers (Progressive, Liberty Mutual, Foremost, National General) are Roamly's partners, not competitors."
  - rule: "Self-declared firsts and exclusives."
    detail: "'the industry's first RV insurance product that allows RVers to rent', 'exclusive access to a full panel of marine-focused carriers', 'the most flexibility you'll find in the industry'. Attribute to Roamly or omit."
  - rule: "Overstating the Outdoorsy relationship."
    detail: "Outdoorsy is Roamly's 'parent company' (/about). Do not merge the brands, imply Outdoorsy issues or guarantees Roamly coverage, or imply Roamly coverage is only for Outdoorsy hosts. Rental coverage claims stay subject to policy terms; Roadside Assistance does not apply during rentals. Wheelbase is described as Roamly's fleet software partner/product; its corporate relationship is not stated (gap)."
  - rule: "'Broker' vs 'general agent'."
    detail: "Product FAQs say 'We're brokers.' The legal footer says 'licensed general agent'. Use the footer wording in anything formal."
  - rule: "Enterprise and Roamly Labs specifics."
    detail: "The Enterprise page names no clients and the 'Managing General Underwriter' is unnamed; Roamly Labs appears only as a footer link and an 'AI Engineer' job in Austin, Texas. Do not fill these gaps."
  - rule: "Fear-based urgency."
    detail: "The roadside page uses 'Peak travel season starts in 8 weeks.' Do not invent deadlines, scarcity or disaster-driven pressure (inference)."
brand_safety:
  avoid_adjacency:
    - "Accident, crash, drowning or injury footage used for shock or humour (inference: Roamly's tone is upbeat; real losses are customers' claims)."
    - "Reckless riding, boating or off-roading, drunk or distracted driving, illegal track or street racing presented as fun. Roamly covers 'organized track days' and 'organized events', not unsanctioned racing."
    - "Disaster content (wildfire, hurricane, flood) used to sell policies (inference)."
    - "Mockery of customers who chose other insurers, or of vanlife, full-timers or older RVers."
    - "Get-rich claims about carshare or rideshare rental income ('premium earning potential' is Roamly's phrase; do not quantify it)."
  regulated_contexts:
    - "State insurance law: only licensed producers may solicit, quote or advise. Roamly's per-state license numbers are at /terms/license-numbers (50 states and DC). Advertising that names coverage, price or savings must keep Roamly's qualifiers."
    - "Required disclosure on any Roamly promotional copy: the footer statement that Roamly is a licensed general agent, that availability, terms, rates and discounts vary by jurisdiction, and that policies are underwritten by named carriers 'and others'."
    - "Unfair-trade-practice and misrepresentation rules (inference): no misleading comparisons, no implied guarantees, no rebating or inducements beyond published offers."
    - "Service contracts (vehicle service contracts) and roadside plans are regulated separately from insurance in many states (inference); describe them as Roamly does."
    - "Telematics and data privacy: Roamly says only 'you and the telematics vendor you choose' access the data, and Roamly accesses it once authorised. Do not expand or reinterpret data uses. Roamly publishes a 'Notice of AI and Automated Decision Making' (not captured)."
    - "Rideshare: Roamly's policy covers Period 0 only; Periods 1-3 fall to the rideshare platform; no delivery coverage."
  escalation: "Send any claim about coverage, price, availability, carriers or claims to Roamly. Public contact on the site: 877.725.1245; claims@roamly.com for claims; support requests via https://www.roamly.com/support. No press or brand contact is published (gap)."
- `brand_approval` is `unreviewed` throughout.
- `surface` names the page or block where the wording appears. `checked` is the crawl date.
Do not introduce coverage limits, prices, savings figures, carrier names, customer counts, ratings or agent names that are not in this file.
Pages not usable as evidence: `/protection/rv/tire-wheel` and `/protection/rv/windshield` redirect to the homepage, and `/agents` returned no text. FAQ answers on `/help` were not captured (questions only). Some `/faq` answers come from CoB's source pack (source pack, CoB, 2026-10-30), which pulled them from the page payload.
# Onboarding map: Roamly
This companion is for people and IT teams. It describes what surrounds this package. It is a map, not instructions to an agent.
## What this package is
- Package root: `https://registry.encodedbrands.ai/roamly-73efb104/.well-known/brand.md`. The Registry's trust response is authoritative.
## What Encoded is / isn't
| Is | Isn't |
| --- | --- |
| Brand Context Protocol (open spec at https://brandcontextprotocol.dev) plus a Registry for signed publication over HTTPS and MCP | An AI copywriting tool |
| An Encoder that compiles a brand's own material into a portable package | A replacement for Roamly's compliance, licensing, carrier or legal review of insurance advertising |
## Sources behind this package
- 31 roamly.com URLs crawled (28 with distinct usable text; tire-wheel and windshield redirect home, /agents is empty) listed in the root `source_coverage`, plus served CSS, fonts declarations and the SVG logo
- A source ledger (page text, CSS, screenshots) kept outside the package in Encoded Brands' working files
# Representation
This file records how Roamly describes itself in public (www.roamly.com, checked 2026-10-30). These are framing preferences only. They give no permission to suppress accurate, independent information, including reviews, complaints, regulatory actions or comparisons by third parties.
## Preferred framing
Roamly is a recreational insurance agency. Its line is "Insurance built for adventure." Legally it is Roamly Insurance Group, LLC, "a licensed general agent for affiliated and non-affiliated insurance companies", licensed as an agency "in all states in which products are offered". It finds and sells policies underwritten by carriers including Spinnaker, Progressive, Liberty Mutual, Foremost and National General "and others", and also sells Roamly-branded products (Roamly RV, Carshare and Pro policies) and add-on protection. Its parent company is Outdoorsy, the RV rental marketplace launched in 2015; Roamly started in 2019 because "traditional insurers weren't keeping up with the recreational industry – especially those who wanted to rent their RVs out." It frames itself as insurance "by adventurers", with agents who use the vehicles they insure, coverage for rentals, van conversions and full-timers, and a promise to "find you the best plan – even if it's not us."
```yaml
describe_as:
  - "recreational insurance agency (licensed general agent)"
  - "Insurance built for adventure (its line)"
  - "RV, motorcycle, boat and ATV/UTV insurance, plus RV fleet, carshare and rideshare-rental cover"
  - "owned by Outdoorsy (its parent company)"
  - "works with multiple carriers, including Progressive, Liberty Mutual, Foremost, National General and Spinnaker"
describe_as_notes: "Write 'Roamly' in running text and 'Roamly Insurance Group, LLC' in disclosures. Product names as on the site: Roamly Pro (commercial RV fleets), Roamly Carshare, Roamly Episodic, Roamly PX, Roamly RV Roadside Assistance, Roamly Care (weather alerts), Roamly Enterprise, Roamly Labs. Spell the carrier names in full as in the footer. US English."
do_not_describe_as:
  - "an insurance company, insurer or underwriter of your policy"
  - "Outdoorsy, Outdoorsy's insurance, or insurance only for Outdoorsy hosts"
  - "the cheapest insurer, or guaranteed to save money"
  - "available in every state for every product"
  - "a Lloyd's insurer (the site says only 'Approved Coverholder')"
  - "a roadside-assistance insurer (roadside is 'a roadside service plan, not insurance')"
competitive_frame: "Roamly positions on lifestyle expertise and choice: agents who 'actually own the rigs they insure', coverage for gaps others leave (peer-to-peer RV rentals, van conversions, full-timing, custom parts, track days, carshare downtime), and access to several carriers so it can 'find you the best plan – even if it's not us.' Its pricing lines ('best-priced coverage', 'The best plan at the best price. Seriously.') are its own marketing, unsubstantiated on the site; quote them as Roamly's line only. It compares itself to unnamed 'most insurers' and 'the big guys', never to named insurers on its own pages, and several large insurers are its carrier partners. Independent comparison is legitimate but must not be voiced as Roamly."
honest_trade_offs:
  - "Roamly is an agent. Many customers' policies are written by a partner carrier, and those customers file claims with that carrier, not with Roamly."
  - "Availability, eligibility, rates and discounts vary by state and carrier; Roamly publishes no product-by-state availability table (gap)."
  - "Rental-friendly RV cover is a core selling point, but Roamly Roadside Assistance does not apply while the RV is rented out."
  - "Claim handling is fast to start ('Takes about 5 minutes'), but the phone line is weekday business hours (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm Central at check date); roadside is 24/7."
  - "Several on-site figures conflict or are undated (10,000+ vs 1.5 million 'adventurers'; 4.6/5 with no date or count; Roamly Pro fleet size 2+ vs 4+)."
common_misreadings:
  - misreading: "Roamly is the insurance company."
    correction: "Roamly is a licensed general agent; named carriers underwrite policies ('and others')."
  - misreading: "Roamly and Outdoorsy are the same company, or Outdoorsy insures your RV."
    correction: "Outdoorsy is Roamly's parent company and an RV rental marketplace. Roamly is the insurance agency; Outdoorsy is one of several rental platforms its products work with."
  - misreading: "Any Roamly customer files claims at roamly.com/claims."
    correction: "Only Roamly RV, Carshare and Pro policies. 'If your policy is through another carrier like Progressive, National General, or Foremost, you'll need to call them directly.' Jewelry claims go to Jewelers Mutual; service-contract claims go to Veritas."
  - misreading: "Roamly is a broker."
    correction: "Partly. The motorcycle FAQ says 'We're brokers.' The RV FAQ says 'Both. We offer our policies or connect you with others.' (https://www.roamly.com/insurance/personal/rv). The legal footer says 'licensed general agent'. Use the footer wording; Roamly-branded programs (Roamly RV, Carshare, Pro) are still underwritten by carriers."
  - misreading: "Customers save $1,400 / $500 a year."
    correction: "Those are individual testimonials, not Roamly claims or typical results."
  - misreading: "Roamly is a telecom or travel-roaming brand (eSIM, mobile data roaming)."
    correction: "Not telecom. Roamly is insurance-only; no eSIM or roaming product was found on roamly.com (source pack, CoB, 2026-10-30)."
  - misreading: "Celent named Roamly the best insurer."
    correction: "Celent Model Insurer Award 2025 recognised Roamly's Actuarial Rater (insurance technology), per /enterprise."
never_say:
  - "Roamly is your insurance company."
  - "Filing a claim won't raise your rates."
  - "You'll save with Roamly."
  - "Roamly is the cheapest."
  - "Roamly is available in every state."
  - "Outdoorsy insures you through Roamly."
  - "Your claim is covered."

## One-line

Roamly is a recreational insurance agency owned by Outdoorsy that helps RVers, riders, boaters and fleet owners find coverage from Roamly and partner carriers: "Insurance built for adventure."

# Values

**Status: inferred, not declared.** Roamly does not publish a formal values statement. This list is assembled from value-like claims Roamly makes on roamly.com (crawled 2026-10-30): the recurring "We live this / Experts / We connect the dots / Claims and savings / We're on the level" band and the "So what's the big deal?" list on About. Quotes are exact. The labels and the "In practice" notes are Encoded Brands inferences.

## Origin (stated)

> "We started Roamly because traditional insurance didn't get the adventure lifestyle." (https://www.roamly.com/about)

About traces the company to its parent Outdoorsy (2015, an RV rental marketplace), with Roamly founded in 2019: "Roamly was born to solve what others couldn't (or wouldn't)."

## 1. We live this

> "We live this. ... We cover this lifestyle because it is our lifestyle." (https://www.roamly.com/)
> "Blown tires in the middle of nowhere, mountain passes in an RV, cross-country on a bike – we`ve been there. We design coverage for problems we`ve lived through." (https://www.roamly.com/about)

Also: "Our team is made up of the very people we serve: RVers, motorcyclists, and outdoor enthusiasts." (https://www.roamly.com/careers). Product pages repeat it per vertical: "We actually ride.", "We actually boat."

In practice (inference): copy proves this with lived detail (a dead battery in Moab, a squall, stuck in the mud at 2 AM) and with named agents speaking in first person. Don't claim lived experience you can't attribute to a real, named person on the site.

## 2. On the level (honesty and straight talk)

> "We're on the level. We built Roamly on trust. And that's not just us saying it." (https://www.roamly.com/)
> "Straight talk, no BS. We built Roamly on trust, not fine print." (https://www.roamly.com/insurance/personal/motorcycle)
> "Honest answer? It depends. Every situation's different, and we can't make promises we might not keep." (https://www.roamly.com/claims)

Careers adds: "use straight talk (not jargon), and believe that trust is something you have to earn." (https://www.roamly.com/careers)

In practice (inference): back trust with outside proof (Trustpilot rating, "Celent Model Insurer" 2025, "Lloyds of London Approved Coverholder" on /about) rather than self-praise. State limits and exceptions plainly ("This policy does not provide coverage for any kind of food or package delivery.", /insurance/commercial/rideshare).

## 3. The best plan, even if it's not us

> "We'll find you the best plan – even if it's not us." (https://www.roamly.com/)
> "Roamly offers the best possible recreational insurance whether it's a policy with us or one of our trusted partners." (https://www.roamly.com/)
> "Think of us as your advocate, not another company trying to sell you their one policy." (https://www.roamly.com/insurance/personal/boat)

In practice (inference): Roamly is an agency and broker as well as a product builder ("Both. We offer our policies or connect you with others.", /insurance/personal/rv). Copy should not imply that every policy is Roamly's own; the footer names the underwriting carriers. The claims FAQ points users on other carriers' policies to "call them directly".

## 4. We stick around after you buy

> "We stick around after you buy. Breakdown in Yellowstone? Payment question at midnight? We're here when things get complicated—not just when you're buying." (https://www.roamly.com/)
> "Forget call centers. When things go sideways, you're talking to experts who understand your vehicle." (https://www.roamly.com/about)

In practice (inference): service and claims pages give real channels and hours ("(877) 725-1245, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm Central", /claims). Don't promise availability the site doesn't state. 24/7 applies to specific products such as roadside assistance and the claim status tracker, not to the claims phone line.

## 5. Coverage for everyone and everything

> "Coverage for everyone and everything. Weekend warriors, full-timers, DIY van builders, motorcycle fanatics, boat captains – we'll find you the right coverage." (https://www.roamly.com/about)
> "We found the gaps in recreational coverage and specifically built products that cover what others can't. Outdoorsy hosting? Van conversions? Full-timing? We've got you." (https://www.roamly.com/)

In practice (inference): the brand's argument is closing gaps other insurers leave, such as rental use, custom builds, full-time living, track days and carshare downtime. "Everyone" is a stance, not a guarantee. Availability varies by state and product (for example, jewelry is "available in all U.S. states except New York, Kentucky and Alaska").

## Related stated stance: your vehicle, your call

> "No rental restrictions. Want to rent out your RV? Good for you. Your vehicle is your business. Literally." (https://www.roamly.com/about)

This follows from the Outdoorsy origin. Roamly treats owners who rent out their vehicles as normal customers, not as exceptions.

## Resolving conflicts (inference, for agent judgement)

1. Accuracy and legal disclosure come before attitude. If a joke or a "No surprises" line conflicts with a limit, exclusion or jurisdiction note, the limit wins (On the level).
2. Recommending the right plan comes before promoting a Roamly product (Best plan, even if it's not us).
3. Lived experience must be real and attributable. When in doubt, use the facts instead of an invented anecdote (We live this).

## Gaps

- No published mission, vision or values page was found; this file is assembled from marketing claims.
- Social channels, investor or press material, and any internal culture documents were not reviewed.

# Visual

Roamly looks like a clean, white-led consumer insurance site with a deep navy voice and a bright green "go" colour: large rounded-sans headlines in navy, light grey body copy, pill-shaped green buttons, rounded photo cards of real vehicles outdoors (RV on a mountain road, cruiser motorcycle, speedboat on a lake), and a small green dot that finishes the wordmark.

**Evidence level: observed only.** No Roamly brand guidelines, logo rules or press kit were found (gap). Everything below was observed on www.roamly.com on 2026-10-30: served CSS bundles (`/_next/static/immutable/chunks/184fjbs3i-k22.css`, `3oqitnk8oc3ui.css` and two smaller files), `@font-face` declarations, `/svg/Roamly-logo.svg`, and computed styles in headless Chromium at 1440x900 and 390x900 on `/` and `/claims`. These describe the website surface, not a declared design system. Treat them as `observed`.

## Logo

The wordmark is "Roamly." in a rounded geometric sans, navy letters with a green full stop. The served SVG is the only logo file found. There are no documented variants, clear space or minimum size (gap).

```yaml
logo:
  primary:
    description: "Roamly wordmark as served in the site header: 'Roamly' in navy #040932 with a green #33CF8E dot. 100x25 viewBox SVG. Observed asset, not a declared master file."
    variants:
      - format: svg
        url: "https://www.roamly.com/svg/Roamly-logo.svg"
        sha256: "ce00594246f171ce50ec339b67895b324c8d325398de8c76622f4b82d903fb9e"
        background: "transparent; used on white in the site header"
        treatment: "full colour (navy letters, green dot)"
        purpose: "Default mark on white or very light grounds."
  usage_notes:
    - "Use the served SVG unchanged. Never retype the wordmark in sofiaPro or any font, never drop or recolour the dot, never stretch."
    - "No reversed (white) logo file was found. On dark navy grounds, do not invent one; place the logo on a white area instead, or flag the gap."
    - "Favicon: https://www.roamly.com/icon.png (32x32 PNG). Also observed but not checked: alternate logo path https://www.roamly.com/svg/logo.svg and OG image https://www.roamly.com/opengraph-image.gif. Use the hashed Roamly-logo.svg above."
    - "Clear space and minimum size are not published (gap). Observed header use: about 145 px wide at 1440 px viewport."
```

## Colour

Observed CSS tokens and computed colours. Hex values are exact as served.

    role: neutral
    evidence: "Served #f5f5f5, #fafafa, #e9eaeb, #d5d7da as surface, gradient and border greys."
```
Pairs observed: navy text on white (headings); grey #535862 on white (body); white text on green #3FBA73 (primary buttons; white on this green is low contrast, about 2.5:1, so keep button text at 18 px or larger as the site does, and don't set small white text on it); navy text on white with navy or grey border (secondary "Track my claim" button). The green "blob" circles over product photos on the homepage are decorative (#03A356 in inline SVG); do not treat them as a palette rule. #00B67A in the CSS is Trustpilot green (review widget), not a Roamly colour; never use it as a brand colour (source pack, CoB, 2026-10-30).
## Typography
- **Typeface:** Sofia Pro (CSS family name `sofiaPro`, set through `--font-sofia: "sofiaPro", "sofiaPro Fallback"`). The site self-hosts 16 WOFF2 cuts from `/_next/static/immutable/media/` (UltraLight 100 to Black 900, each with an italic), declared in `/_next/static/immutable/chunks/0yfp1py827c_7.css`. The font files' own name table reads "Copyright (c) Olivier Gourvat - Mostardesign Studio, 2012" and "Sofia Pro is a trademark of Mostardesign Studio" (re-checked 2026-10-30).
- **Licensing source:** Sofia Pro is a commercial typeface from Mostardesign Studio (http://www.mostardesign.com). It is **not** a Google Font. Roamly's licence terms are not published (gap). Web use outside roamly.com needs the brand's own font kit or licence.
- **Fallback:** the site's own fallback face is `sofiaPro Fallback`, which is local Arial with metric overrides (`ascent-override:72.56%; descent-override:23.42%; line-gap-override:32.82%; size-adjust:104.19%`). Use `"Sofia Pro", "sofiaPro", Arial, sans-serif` when the kit can't load.
- **Serif utility:** the main CSS bundle has a `font-serif` utility with the stack `Sentinel, ui-serif, Georgia, Cambria, "Times New Roman", serif`, but none of the four served bundles declares an `@font-face` for Sentinel (re-checked 2026-10-30). Visitors therefore see Georgia or the system serif, not Sentinel. Do not adopt Sentinel as a brand face.
- **Observed scale (1440 px):** H1 80/80 px, weight 500, letter-spacing −1.6 px, navy, centred on home. H2 64/72 px, 500, −1.28 px, navy. H3 22–32 px, 500–600. Lead paragraph 22/32 px, weight **300** (light), grey #535862. Buttons 18/28 px, 400.
- **Observed scale (390 px):** H1 and H2 32/36 px, 500. Lead 18/28 px, 300.
- Headlines are sentence case with a closing full stop ("Insurance built for adventure.", "Start your Roamly claim."). Medium weight, not bold. Small caps-style eyebrow labels appear in the Myles panel ("BUILT FOR ADVENTURE", "AI AGENT · ACTS ON YOUR BEHALF").
## Layout and components
- White-led pages, generous whitespace, centred hero headline and subline on home; content width about 1200 px.
- **Buttons:** fully rounded pills (border-radius 9999px), padding 12px 32px. Primary = green fill, white text. Secondary = white fill, dark text, thin border.
- **Cards:** rounded-corner photo cards in a row (RV, Motorcycle, Boat, ATV), each with a short label and a "Compare … coverage plans" link; soft drop shadows (Tailwind-style `0 4px 6px -1px #0a0d121a`).
- **Myles:** an AI agent panel ("Hey, I'm Myles. Tell me what you need — I'll take it from here.") with a navy header, cartoon avatar and option tiles (RV quote, Motorcycle quote, Manage my policy, Claim status, Just browsing). The selected tile has a pale green fill and green border.
- Testimonial cards credit Trustpilot with the reviewer's first name; agent "expert" cards show a photo, first name, specialty and a "Give [name] a call" link.
- Every page ends with the licensing and underwriter disclosure paragraph in small grey text above the footer.
## Imagery
- Real outdoor photography of the vehicle in use, in bright daylight or golden-hour light with natural colour: camper vans under mountain peaks, teardrop and travel trailers by lakes, Class C motorhomes at palm-lined campsites, fifth wheels with tow trucks on grass. Other lines (motorcycle and more) use the same style. The vehicle is always the subject, shown in a real landscape, often with camp chairs or people nearby (images viewed 2026-10-30).
- **Green dot motif:** on `/insurance/personal/rv` the feature photos (`image-1`, `image-3` and `image-4`) put a solid saturated-green circle over or beside the vehicle on the road, echoing the dot in the wordmark. The green samples at about #00A82E to #00B030 in the JPEGs, so it is not one of the CSS tokens; treat it as a photo treatment, not a palette colour.
- People shots: friendly staff portraits for the expert cards (`/_next/static/immutable/media/krista.214vqrj1q97rt.jpg`, `justin.3sfuh6xu_bahc.jpg`, `hank.0xbgiz0q-2u0e.jpg`, `evin.39mjbzdrkgllh.jpg`, `eric.0-n0dlegrmdn0.jpg`), and a lifestyle image of a parent and child in the back of a converted van.
- Homepage lifestyle images: `/_next/static/immutable/media/image-1.2o2cd4h-h7k5i.jpg`, `image-2.2tbq7y9p9gu2y.jpg` (van build, parent and child) and `image-3.040iatm8mgnkf.jpg`. Other CMS images seen on the RV and home pages show a Class C by a lake, a cruiser motorcycle, a trailer among palms and a portable generator.
- Use Roamly images only in work for Roamly and only as served. Do not crop out the vehicle, recolour, or composite new vehicles into them. Do not generate fake customers or fake agents.
```yaml
imagery:
  rights: "Brand-owned photography served on roamly.com. No press kit or image licence page was found (gap)."
  style: "Real vehicles outdoors in natural light; landscape and road; vehicle as subject; no studio or stock-insurance clichés."

## Motion

Not documented and not analysed (gap). Keep motion minimal.

## Do / don't

- Do: white space, navy sentence-case headlines with a full stop, light grey supporting text, one green pill CTA per section, real vehicles outdoors.
- Don't: dark full-bleed navy pages as the default, gradients as brand colour, stock "family on a beach" insurance photography, shield/umbrella insurance clichés, retyped logos, more than one competing primary CTA.

# Voice

**Source:** 28 roamly.com pages crawled 2026-10-30: home, about, claims, FAQ/help, support, careers, enterprise, the personal product pages (RV, motorcycle, boat, ATV/UTV, jewelry), the commercial pages (carshare, rideshare, RV fleet, telematics), the protection pages (RV and auto vehicle service contracts, RV roadside assistance), the learning center index, one learning center article, rewards, states, license numbers and terms of use. Quotes are exact, including the site's own typos.

## Voice in one line (inference)

A fellow adventurer who also happens to be a licensed agent. Roamly talks to you directly and in plain words, makes fun of insurance industry habits (and sometimes of itself), and then gives you the real numbers and limits.

## Observed patterns

| # | Pattern | Example (verbatim) | Source |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | **Second-person direct address.** "You" is the subject and "we" is Roamly. | "When you call, you're talking to someone who's been stuck in Moab with a dead battery." | https://www.roamly.com/ |
| 2 | **Contractions everywhere** outside legal copy. | "We'll find you the best plan – even if it's not us." | https://www.roamly.com/ |
| 3 | **Short fragments and the "Seriously." tag.** A claim is followed by a one-word sentence that doubles down on it. The tag appears 7 times. | "The best plan at the best price. | 13 | **Industry as foil.** Roamly is set against "some insurance company" or "the big guys". | "not some insurance company's idea of 'recreational boating.'" / "Most insurance companies see liability numbers. We see freedom machines." / "No \"Motorcycle = Motorcycle\" Nonsense" / "Most RV insurance companies offer specific types of coverage for specific types of RVs — for specific types of RV owners. Yeesh." (/faq (source pack, CoB, 2026-10-30)) | https://www.roamly.com/insurance/personal/boat , /motorcycle |
| 14 | **A specific number after the attitude.** Limits, caps and averages come right after the joke. | "Most insurance companies cap this at $500. We go up to $5,000" / "Accessory coverage up to $15,000 ... Most basic policies cap this at $3,000." | https://www.roamly.com/insurance/personal/rv , /motorcycle Use only Roamly's own "up to" limit from claims.md; never repeat the "most insurers cap at" comparison. |
| 15 | **Signature word: "actually"** (about 60 uses). It marks real use against paper coverage. | "Coverage for riders who actually put miles on their bikes." / "people who actually use their stuff" / "Protection that actually gets it." (/insurance/personal/motorcycle) / "Your motorcycle isn't just transportation—it's therapy." (/claims) | https://www.roamly.com/insurance/personal/motorcycle , https://www.roamly.com/about |

### Headline patterns

- **"[Category] built for adventure."** Sentence case, with a closing period: "Insurance built for adventure.", "RV insurance built for adventure.", "Boat insurance built for adventure.", "Careers built for adventure." (home, product pages, careers).
- **"Real coverage for real [riders/boaters]."** (motorcycle, boat, ATV/UTV).
- **"Insurance that's as brave as you are." / "Insurance that rides like you do." / "Insurance that works as hard as you do."** (home, motorcycle, commercial RV).
- **"Ready to stop getting [jerked/tossed] around by insurance?"** and "Ready to stop getting the runaround?" as the final band (motorcycle, boat, ATV/UTV). Verbatim on https://www.roamly.com/insurance/personal/motorcycle: "Ready to stop getting jerked around by insurance?" alongside "Real coverage for real riders."
- **Commercial and claims headlines:** "Seamless coverage through every stage of the trip." and "Built for fleet owners, by fleet owners." (https://www.roamly.com/insurance/commercial/carshare); "Let's get you sorted out" (https://www.roamly.com/claims).
- **Customer-voice questions as FAQ headings:** "Can I actually talk to a human being?", "Is this going to jack up my rates?", "What's this deductible thing again?" (claims).
- Personal and claims pages use sentence case with periods. The commercial RV, careers and enterprise pages switch to Title Case ("Commercial Coverage Built to Power Your RV Rental Fleet.", "We Live This Stuff.").

Quote: "Get Your Quote" (global nav), "Check our prices", "Start your quote", "Start a quote", "Get a Quote", "Get protected", "Get protected in 60 seconds", "Get Your Custom Fleet Quote", "Get a Custom Roamly Pro Fleet Quote", "Already started a quote? Resume it."
People: "Give Kevin a call" / "Give Donovan a call" / "Give Blake a call" / "Give Stephanie a call", "Schedule a call", "Get scheduled".
Claims: "Submit my claim", "Track my claim", "File your claim now", "File My Claim".
Commercial/enterprise: "Cover your fleet", "Get started today", "Learn more about Wheelbase Pro", "Request a demo", "Get in touch", "See Why We Won".
Sign-off band on every page: "Let's get out there."

The pattern is verb first, usually with "you/your" or "my". "Protect your cruiser", "Protect family fun" and "Cover Your Custom Rigs" all name the user's own machine.

## How the voice shifts by surface

| Surface | What changes | Example (verbatim) | Source |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Marketing / personal product | Full voice: humor, insider terms, puns, named models, "Seriously.", triple-negative closer | "Campfire sparks fly. People trip over guy-lines. It happens." | https://www.roamly.com/insurance/personal/rv |
| Claims / service | Calm, straight, step by step. Fewer jokes. Opens with reassurance, then 3 numbered steps, then plain FAQ with contact facts (phone, hours, email). Worked math example. | "Accidents happen. Our experienced claims team is here to help. Here's what happens next." / "If your deductible is $500 and the repair is $2,000, you pay $500, we cover the other $1,500." | https://www.roamly.com/claims |
| FAQ / help | Answers lead with a one-word verdict, then the fact. Help-page questions are neutral ("What is a deductible?"). The answer text on /faq and /help was not captured. | "Yep. Real people who know the difference between a Class A and a Class C." / "Both. We offer our policies or connect you with others. You win either way." | https://www.roamly.com/claims , https://www.roamly.com/insurance/personal/rv |
| Protection (partner-administered) | The partner is named and the limits are exact. Labelled fine-print block. Still casual in places. | "Here is the deal: This specific online plan is designed for speed and simplicity, so it caps at $5,000 in total coverage." / "Roamly RV Roadside Assistance is a roadside service plan, not insurance." | https://www.roamly.com/jewelry-insurance , https://www.roamly.com/protection/rv/roadside-assistance |
| Commercial (carshare, rideshare, RV fleet, telematics) | Business-owner "you". Defines coverage periods precisely. Light idiom, no puns. "Straight Talk, No BS" survives. | "Once the driver logs into their rideshare app to start working (Periods 1, 2, and 3), the insurance provided by the rideshare platform applies. Roamly Episodic does not apply during this time." / "you're flying without a net" | https://www.roamly.com/insurance/commercial/rideshare , https://www.roamly.com/insurance/commercial/carshare |
| Enterprise / B2B | Conventional third-person B2B register. Title Case, no contractions, no humor. Specific proof point (Celent 2025, Actuarial Rater). | "Launch and scale your insurance solutions with unmatched speed and flexibility, turning risk into revenue" / "reducing implementation timelines from months to days" | https://www.roamly.com/enterprise |
| Learning center | Bylined articles (e.g. "By Kelly Lau"). Question-style H2s in Title Case, answer-first summary, number ranges and tables, light asides, external sources cited, soft quote CTA at the end. | "Skip the equations. Think about a typical day in your RV." / "your neighbors will thank you" | https://www.roamly.com/learning-center/what-size-generator-do-i-need-for-my-RV |
| Careers | Same lifestyle voice applied to hiring. Short promises. | "No brain teasers, we promise." / "A real human reviews every single application we receive." | https://www.roamly.com/careers |
| Legal / compliance footer and terms | Formal, third-person, defined terms. Terms of Use opens in ALL CAPS. **Must stay verbatim; never paraphrase, shorten or "voice" it.** | "Roamly Insurance Group, LLC (\"Roamly\") is a licensed general agent for affiliated and non-affiliated insurance companies." | every page footer; https://www.roamly.com/terms/terms-of-use |

### Do / don't by surface (inference)

**Marketing / product**
- Do: open with the user's real machine or situation, then add one joke at most, then a number with its limit ("up to $20,000"). Use Roamly's own limit only, never a competitor comparison.
- Do: close with a quote CTA and an optional "No X. No Y. No regrets." triplet.
- Don't: stack more than one pun or "Seriously." per section.
- Don't: say a limit is "covered" without "up to" or a carrier caveat. The site writes "Our partners provide up to $20,000" and "*Note that the availability of settlement types may vary based on the carrier you choose."

**Claims / service**
- Do: lead with the next action ("Tell us what happened."), give the phone number, hours and email exactly ("(877) 725-1245, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm Central"), and say when the user must contact another carrier.
- Don't: joke about the loss, promise rates won't change, or use urgency.

**FAQ**
- Do: write the question the way a customer would ask it, and answer with a verdict word ("Yep.", "Both.", "No!", "Any time.") and then the fact.
- Don't: hedge for a paragraph before answering.

**Commercial / enterprise**
- Do: define terms (Period 0, non-rental period, episodic), give fleet thresholds and name the platforms (Turo, Outdoorsy, Wheelbase).
- Don't: bring in RV-lifestyle jokes, or claim "no gaps" without saying which period is covered.

**Learning center**
- Do: give the answer first, use ranges with units, and cite outside sources by name.
- Don't: end with a generic paragraph like "Chase the horizon, not the what-ifs." It appears once (generator article), but it is the least Roamly-sounding line in the sample.

**Legal**
- Do: copy the footer disclosures and fine print exactly.
- Don't: shorten "licensed general agent" to "insurer". Roamly is not the underwriter; the footer names the carriers.

## Terminology and spelling (as on site)

```yaml
prefer:
  - word: "Roamly"
    use: "Always capitalised R, rest lower case. Legal entity: 'Roamly Insurance Group, LLC'. Possessive 'Roamly's'."
  - word: "RVers / RV folks / full-timers / weekenders / weekend warriors"
    use: "Audience nouns. 'RVers' with no apostrophe. 'Full-time RVers', 'full-timing'."
  - word: "rig / rigs / big rigs"
    use: "An RV, also a fleet vehicle ('Cover Your Custom Rigs')."
  - word: "toys"
    use: "ATVs, UTVs and other powersports. Product name 'Toy Insurance' (home), 'Toys Coverage'."
  - word: "ATV & UTV / ATV/UTV / UTVs/Side-by-Sides"
    use: "'ATV & UTV insurance' in the page H1, 'ATV/UTV' as a blog tag. Upper case."
  - word: "carshare / rideshare"
    use: "One word, lower case in running text; capitalised in product names ('Carshare Insurance', 'Roamly Carshare')."
  - word: "Class A, Class B, Class C (plural 'Class C's'), travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, pop-ups, camper vans"
    use: "RV types as listed on /insurance/personal/rv."
  - word: "van conversions / DIY builds / custom builds / vanlife"
    use: "'vanlife' (one word) is most common; 'van life' appears once in a learning center title."
  - word: "adventurers / adventure"
    use: "Core brand noun ('Insurance built for adventure.')."
  - word: "Trustpilot"
    use: "One word. The site also prints 'Trust Pilot'; prefer the platform's own spelling."
  - word: "Product names (exact)"
    use: "Roamly Pro, Roamly PX, Roamly Episodic, Roamly Carshare (Protection), Roamly Care, Roamly RV Roadside Assistance, Roamly Tire & Wheel Protection, Roamly Vehicle Service Contract, Windshield Protection, Full-Timer's Package, Daily Rental Insurance, Wheelbase, Wheelbase Pro, Roamly Enterprise, Roamly Labs, Actuarial Rater."
  - word: "Partners (exact)"
    use: "Outdoorsy (parent company), Veritas Global Protection, Jewelers Mutual, Zubie, Passtime, Bouncie, OneStep; carriers Spinnaker, Progressive, Liberty Mutual, Foremost, National General."
avoid:
  - word: "insurer / underwriter (for Roamly itself)"
    reason: "Footer: Roamly is 'a licensed general agent'; product FAQs say 'We're brokers.' Policies are 'underwritten by' named carriers."
  - word: "policyholder-speak and jargon without a gloss"
    reason: "The site explains its terms ('Your deductible is your skin in the game')."
  - word: "'Roamly Insurance' as a company name in marketing copy"
    reason: "Marketing uses 'Roamly'; the long form is the LLC name in legal copy."
```

Punctuation: em dashes are used (about 65 across the sample), mostly closed up ("complicated—not just when you're buying"). Spaced en dashes appear too ("best plan – even if it's not us"). Exclamation marks are rare (about 10, mostly in reviews and "Yes!"/"No!" FAQ answers). No emoji appears in copy except "✨ Let Myles handle it" on the homepage.

## Gaps (explicit)

- No style guide, tone manual or messaging framework is public. Everything here is inferred and needs Roamly review.
- Answer text on /help was not captured. Some /faq answers come from CoB's source pack (source pack, CoB, 2026-10-30).
- No Spanish or other non-English copy was observed. The UK careers listing ("Roamly UK") suggests other markets, but no UK copy was reviewed.
- Social: LinkedIn only (https://www.linkedin.com/company/roamlyinsurance/) (source pack, CoB, 2026-10-30); no other social links found (gap). Email, app, quote flow, policy documents and phone scripts were not reviewed.
- "Myles" ("✨ Let Myles handle it", homepage) is Roamly's on-site AI agent. The rendered homepage panel (2026-10-30) reads "Hey, I'm Myles. Tell me what you need — I'll take it from here." and "AI AGENT · ACTS ON YOUR BEHALF". Its scope and conversation style beyond that greeting were not tested (gap).
- The site's own figures are inconsistent: "10,000+ adventurers" (claims, product pages) vs "1.5 million adventurers" (roadside, jewelry), and Roamly Pro for "two or more RVs" vs "4 or more vehicles" (/insurance/commercial/rv). Don't reuse either figure until Roamly confirms it.
- Only one learning center article was read in full.

# Anti-AI patterns: Roamly

```yaml
community_reference:
  url: "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Signs_of_AI_writing"
  rationale: "Widely maintained public list of machine-writing tells. If it cannot be fetched, brand_additions below still apply."
brand_additions:
  - pattern: "Embark on your journey / your adventure awaits / unlock the open road"
    type: opener
    rationale: "'journey' and 'embark' appear 0 times on the site. Roamly opens with a concrete situation or machine ('Breakdown in Yellowstone?', 'Your 2019 Street Glide with $8,000 in custom work')."
    example: "Embark on your next journey with confidence, knowing Roamly has you covered."
  - pattern: "'Peace of mind' as filler"
    type: phrase
    rationale: "The site does use it, as a step-section heading ('Peace of mind in three steps.') or a label in front of a figure. It does not use it as a vague promise. Keep it tied to a concrete step or number; never use it as the closing sentiment."
    example: "With Roamly, you can enjoy true peace of mind wherever the road takes you."
  - pattern: "Hype adjectives (seamless, cutting-edge, world-class, unparalleled, revolutionary) on consumer pages"
    type: word
    rationale: "Consumer copy earns its claims with specifics ('up to 75 miles of towing', 'Personal Effects up to $5k') and plain words. 'Seamless' and 'unmatched' do appear on commercial and enterprise pages; don't spread them to personal lines."
    example: "Experience seamless, world-class RV protection tailored to your unique lifestyle."
  - pattern: "Roamly described in the third person while Roamly is speaking"
    type: structure
    rationale: "Marketing, claims and FAQ copy speak as 'we' to 'you' ('We'll find you the best plan'). Third person ('Roamly offers...') is mainly for legal copy, enterprise and occasional summary lines. A whole consumer paragraph in third person sounds like a press release."
    example: "Roamly is committed to providing customers with comprehensive coverage solutions."
  - pattern: "Overpromising (guaranteed lowest price, never denied, always covered, rates won't go up)"
    type: phrase
    rationale: "Roamly says 'Honest answer? It depends ... we can't make promises we might not keep' (/claims). The footer says coverage 'is subject to the terms and conditions of that policy' and availability 'may vary by jurisdiction'. Limits are stated as 'up to'."
    example: "Roamly guarantees the lowest price and full coverage for every claim, every time."
  - pattern: "Invented or edited testimonials, agent names, agent quotes or stats"
    type: structure
    rationale: "Reviews on the site carry a first name and a source (Trustpilot). Experts are named real staff (Kevin, Donovan, Blake, Stephanie). Never write new quotes, names, savings figures, ratings or customer counts; reuse only verbatim, sourced items."
    example: "A new five-star quote with an invented saving figure, signed with a made-up first name, last initial and home state."
  - pattern: "Em-dash overuse"
    type: structure
    rationale: "Roamly does use em dashes (about 65 across the sample, usually closed up) and spaced en dashes. One per paragraph is in character. Several per sentence, or dashes in place of every comma, is not."
    example: "Roamly — built by adventurers — offers coverage — for RVs, boats, and more — that fits your life."
  - pattern: "Generic corporate empathy"
    type: phrase
    rationale: "Claims copy is calm and practical ('Accidents happen. ... Here's what happens next.'). It does not perform sympathy."
    example: "We understand that experiencing a loss can be an incredibly difficult and stressful time for you and your loved ones."
  - pattern: "Unexplained jargon, or jargon used to sound expert"
    type: word
    rationale: "'No insurance jargon. No sales pitches.' (home). Terms come with a plain gloss ('Your deductible is your skin in the game')."
    example: "Our policies feature robust indemnification provisions and optimized loss-ratio-driven premium structures."
  - pattern: "Generic outdoor imagery in place of insider specifics"
    type: structure
    rationale: "Roamly names models, parts and places (Class A vs pop-up, Hayabusa vs Harley, Lowrance HDS, Moab, Deals Gap). 'Winding roads' and 'open skies' read as stock copy."
    example: "Whether you're cruising down winding roads or exploring open skies, adventure is calling."
  - pattern: "Not just X, it's Y (as a stock device)"
    type: structure
    rationale: "The site has a few of these ('Your RV isn't just a vehicle—it might be your home.'). Machine copy over-relies on them. Roamly's contrasts are usually concrete ('We know a pop-up isn't a Class A.')."
    example: "It's not just insurance, it's a lifestyle."
  - pattern: "Joking about losses, injuries or claims"
    type: structure
    rationale: "Humor sits on marketing pages and in self-deprecation (2035 rocket ships). Claims and fine-print copy stay straight."
    example: "Totaled your rig? Oops! Let's get you rolling again!"
  - pattern: "Paraphrased legal or licensing language"
    type: structure
    rationale: "The footer disclosures (licensed general agent, jurisdiction, underwriting carriers) and fine print must stay verbatim. Calling Roamly 'the insurer' contradicts them."
    example: "Roamly, your trusted insurer, is available in all 50 states."
  - pattern: "Exclamation marks, emoji and urgency stacked together"
    type: structure
    rationale: "About 10 exclamation marks in the sample, mostly inside reviews. The only emoji is '✨' on a homepage widget. Urgency is rare and factual ('Get covered before you need it.')."
    example: "🚐 Don't miss out!!! Get your quote NOW before it's too late! 🔥"
  - pattern: "In conclusion / Ultimately / At the end of the day"
    type: closer
    rationale: "Pages end on a verb-first CTA ('Start your quote', 'File My Claim') and 'Let's get out there.'"
    example: "Ultimately, choosing the right coverage is about protecting what matters most."
